Human Resources Analyst/Coordinator

You’ll provide assistance to the Human Resources team and the organization in the day-to-day programs and initiatives such as performance management, employee relations, benefits, compensation & total rewards, HR analytics, recruitment and HR information systems. You’ll also need to love data! You’ll be collecting, analyzing and using human resources data to provide internal stakeholders with valuable information on the organization’s most important asset – its people.

You’re great at…

  • Providing assistance to the Human Resources team on all initiatives and activities.
  • Documenting events throughout the entire employee lifecycle (i.e., new hires, leaves of absences, benefit changes, transfers, terminations, etc.).
  • Being the go-to person for HR systems including the HRIS, 360-degree/survey tool, and all other web based third party systems.
  • Facilitating and organizing the onboarding process for new hires, including orientations.
  • Supporting the compensation and reward programs, including salary administration and participating in the annual compensation surveys to determine the company’s market competitiveness.
  • Conducting needs analysis for updates and upgrades to the HRIS system and on our various compensation and recognition programs.
  • Providing analytical support through monthly and ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed; tracking HR trends and developments.
  • Designing and customizing various reports and statistics (headcount, turnover, vacation, recruitment etc.) for senior leadership.

Who are you?

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business and an interest in Human Resources Management.
  • You have practical generalist experience in an employee focused department.
  • You’ve been told you exercise great judgement.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and with external contacts.
  • You have solid verbal, written and listening communication and conflict resolution skills to deal effectively with multiple departments.
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • You have a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Including Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables, IF statements, etc.), Word, PowerPoint, Access and Visio. Ability to create visually stunning graphics and dashboards an asset.
  • You have experience using an HRIS system.
