Certification Analyst, Payments

You’ll be responsible for performing the testing and certification functions & support for Interac/Acxsys products and services, with focus on Mobile related projects. 

You'll be tasked with developing, enhancing and maintaining automation test suites for regression testing and reviewing specification changes and coordinates with the technical and test teams to enhance the test suites, debug and fix automated test suites. You’ll be responsible for the automation process architecture and design, recommending an appropriate framework, evaluating all scripts and recommending changes as per the requirements.

You’ll create certification documents – test plans and processes – and will perform or support in the integration testing of the client’s end to end mobile solution. You’ll also assist in the planning and managing of the successful implementation of releases and onboarding of clients on to the service.

  • Quality assurance testing.
  • Reviewing application specifications.
  • Maintaining alignment of certification artifacts with technical specifications and business requirements.
  • Contributing to certification specific documentation creation and updates.
  • Creating test plans. 
  • Implementing test scripts according to test plans.
  • Maintaining, updating, and enhancing automation tools.   
  • Tool customization development and tools validation.
  • Maintaining traceability of test cases to specifications.
  • Managing the client certification process and identifying scope of certification for their end to end solution.
  • Performing or supporting in the client’s mobile integration test phase.

Who are you?

  • You have a University Degree (computer systems and/or engineering preferred).
  • You have solid experience in testing and certification using different techniques.
  • You have EMV and payment knowledge and experience.
  • Expertise in Interac IMN / ISO messaging and strong experience in ISO8583 testing.
  • You have sound knowledge of the financial services area and payments technology.
  • You have strong analytical and organizational skills to manage deliverables.
  • You have experience working with multiple internal stakeholders to understand requirements and create automation test plans.
  • You have experience in the development of automated tests to be used as part of the continuous integration framework.
  • You have the ability to integrate tests with various tools.
  • You have experience in API level Automation tools.
  • You have experience using test tools to execute user acceptance tests for web and mobile based testing.
  • You have experience with web and mobile based applications.
  • You have scripting/programming experience and experience with various tools to test Web Services & Web based modern applications, etc.
  • You have experience using software testing tools including Selenium, Jmeter, SOAP UI, and SOAP SONAR.
  • JAVA, and Oracle PL SQL will be an asset.
  • You have a very strong technical background, with development experience being a nice to have.
  • You have strong knowledge of the development process for both large-scale distributed and centralized software applications.
  • You have strong knowledge of testing best practices and methodologies.
